Our Head chef has a simple philosophy: combine regional tradition with international culinary expertise to create sophisticated, light cuisine.
He and his team believe in using only the best and freshest ingredients, purchased from local farmers wherever possible. Local elderberry, for instance, has a special place in this kitchen. More than 2,000 years ago, the health-giving effects of the elderberry were remarked upon by Hippocrates, the Greek doctor and philosopher. And it certainly continues to inspire head chef Toerpel to create ever-new culinary surprises to pamper the palates of our guests.
